Cornerstone Accounting has 2 Directors

I spent 10 years with KPMG, both in the UK and Australia, before specialising in financial services, mainly with Prudential Life Assurance in Stirling. After a brief foray into Barnardo’s Scotland and a 5-year maternity break, I returned to professional practice where I now specialise in the charity sector providing organisational and accounting support to many clients in the field. I particularly love supporting charities with implementing bookkeeping solutions and training their staff in its use so that they can get on with what they do best, knowing that the accounting is taken care of. I am married with one son.

After training to be a chartered accountant with Scott Moncrieff, and then living abroad for 8 years, and taking time off to have 3 children, I have since worked in a number of different roles, including being the finance manager in a small owner managed business and in the finance team of a busy Edinburgh based charity, before then returning to professional practice. I now specialise in the owner managed business sector and provide all the accounting support that small companies need to keep their businesses running smoothly. I spend as much of my free time outside as I can, either walking or pottering in the garden. I am married with three adult children.
